So, my current hard drive is on it's way out. Windows 7 has been released. Perfect timing.
Is it worth getting a Solid State Drive at this point bearing in mind the cost is much more substantial than a standard SATA drive. I'd be using it primarily as my OS boot drive and for a certain few programs such as Photoshop/Illustrator (already having another drive for storage/other programs).
Or shall I save the extra £100 and just go for another SATA drive, such as... http://www.ebuyer.com/product/124228 ; put the SSD upgrade off for a year or so.
