yeah thats what i mean.
i have tried to push the wires away but still didnt click into place. it was only about a hour ago when i tried so it was pretty dark, ill have a go in the morning and see if I can push them any further down.
cheers

I had to push in the head unit and at same time having my hand up back of dash (up back of centre console where cup holders next to footwell heater duct and below glovebox) and pulling cable gently down back of dash.

As i had same problem as well, there so tight for space :(

Good Luck ;)

Space is even worse when you have phono cables in the back, brute force got my pioneer in.

try a USB interface, Phono conectors and a interface adaptor for the display and hand controls! THAT'S when it gets tight! I found that there was a gap behind the air-con controls on my 182, and with a little jiggiling I got the cabling to fall behind there. It did take two attempts as I pulled the interface cable out on first attempt and had to remove it and start over. They don't make it easy to change HU on clios!

Easy peasy with the dash top off, you can pull the cables over towards the top of the glovebox. I've got 3x RCAs, Display/Steering adapter, Changer cable, alpine loom and the bloody dc/dc converter so cram in there its doable without the dash off but so much easier with it off.

It should be a doddle with just the headunit.
