Head gasket set!

Car  clio mk2
Replacing my head gasket on clio mk2 1.4 16v and each head gasket set seems to be different so what gaskets do I actually need? I already have the head gasket but I was advised to get a gasket set. Any help would be great thanks

On the Clio I don't think you can get a head set without the head gasket. This would mean if you want a complete head gasket set, then you would end up with two head gaskets. Where are you looking for your head gasket set to know there are different types?

Buy a quaility set but what you change is up to you. Normally a headset will contain everything you need to fully refurbish and replace the cylinder head...

... so thats the main compression gasket along with manifold gaskets, camshaft seals, valve stem seals along with any additional ancils that are part of the head assembly such as vvc solenoid seals (not needed on the K4J).

You really need to buy a head bolt set though as these don't always come in the kit.

Depends on your inlet manifold vs that photo being generic or specific.

The basics are there

Its missing the upper inlet seals but as above, the basics are there IF that picture is specific.

Can't vouch for the quality though.

Oh really? When I put my reg in that's what came up, what's a simple way to check if I have an 8 or 16v because I'm starting to think its 8

Great, thanks! Will order it tomorrow! They have another head set for 1.4 8v but I'm not sure what the actual difference is though?
