i basically need a plug, that will fit into an aftermarket headunit and that i can wire up to my speaker loom . thanks

Is the plug going in the back of the stereo? if so if u buy a sony headunit it will contain this connector to connect to the 2 blocks in ur car (1 for power, other for speakers)

Or have i got the wrong end of the stick?

ah, on another thread is the headunit i want, will it have one of them connectors so i can wire it up to my loom?

yup should do mate all sonys come with them in the box (i work in halfords part time)well they do in my shop, but they cost around £30 to buy i think and there are two different ones!

But its always supplied in a sony!u can change the wires around so it plays with ignition off!
