Head unit and speakers.

Now guys , Just got a 02 clio first car its nice wouldnt mind a sport but insurance would be through the roof lol. I have searched and I have not put any speakers or upgraded the headunit in a car before so thought id ask you guys. I know the front speakers are 13 cm just thought id ask your opinon.
I don't want really loud speakers just an improvement of the crappy standard ones maybe a bit louder. So im going to buy these I think there cheap and 160 watts seems ok. im also going to buy a ripspeed dvd player. My question is can i just take the speakers out and put them in or will i have to wire the speakers through the door etc.

You only replacing the front you could replace the rears. Wire should already be in place?

Replacing the standard headunit is a must if you want better improvement.

Yeh.. there is no speakers in the rear ones and it seems abit of a hassle as the seat is in the way of the speaker covers so i was going to put new ones in front. Thanks for the quick reply btw. Would it just be a case of switching the speakers round or would i have to wire the new ones through the doors?

You won't have to wire through the doors again. Just use the original wire that is wired to the original speakers.

This sounds abit daft but what are the difference between coaxial and component speakers are they just different connections which ones come standard in the clio as Id just want to remove the speakers and plug the new ones in. I have also found some speakers out of a 05 clio sport are they the same that will be in mine now or are they different?

Component are 1 way( have one speaker cone) and coxial are 2/3/4 way with smaller spaeakers inside the woofer..

shove your hand down the back of the rear seat and pull up, all will be revealed
then just yank the speaker covers off
