Head unit help please (Sony)

I rarely venture into these forums as Im a bit of an ICE novice, but can someone help me please!

My "new" Willy has a Sony Mini-Disc head unit that controls a 10-disc CD autochanger. The unit is about two years old and is an MDX-C5970R, rated at 35wx4 (so not exactly a beast!). Sorry I cant tell you more than that!

Anyway, the problem is that whenever I select the CD function, it does nothing as says "reset". The unit is otherwise fine and the CD autochanger was working fine until today!

have you pressed the reset button???

normally found under the faceplate, very small button

Ye, given that it says reset.. I would press the reset button, wont do any harm.
