Head Unit Question

question for some 1 with the knowledge. just bought a new head unit from halfords and got it fitted. my controlds at my steering wheel now do not control the volume or track skip. and also its now not coming up with the track number on the screen of my centre console where the time display is. is there anyway i can get them sorted so that i have these funstions again or should it already still have them and has halfords f.ukd up the install cheers

You will not retain those functions without buying separate adaptors. Something that I looked into which proved to be tricky and pricey for the 200.

That's the reason I still have the OE headunit in mine.

bloody hell lol i wish id have known that i wouldnt have bothered bummer. u replaced any of ur speakers as yet

No I haven't replaced anything in mine yet, I just wanted an updated HU with iPod connection but was quoted £100 just to keep steering controls.
