Head Unit?

hi, one of my mates head unit has started doing dodgey things....it all functions fine, but the display lights keep flickering on and off like a strobe. The buttons on the front that light up are fine its just the display.

I've looked at the back of the head unit and all the connections are fine, the face is removable so dunno if it could be the connections to the face? they look ok though...any1 got any ideas on why this is happening? :S

I'd probably send it off for repair something sounds a miss there mae.

sounds like the ribbon connector to the face starting to play up - repair job me thinx

yeh seems the only thing it could be really, unless a fault on sumthing inside it. Ill tell him 2 take it back as its still under warrenty, wierd though hes only had it about 3 weeks.
