Is there an aftermarket head unit for an Mk2 Clio 172 which is compatible with the factory display and remote?

Dont think theres one that will also use the display. I have Sony unit with an autoleads adapter (waited ages from renault cause it was new lead for the new clio apparently, £60 I think). The display still shows the temp and the time but no function.

The lead is difiicult to fit as you have to take the top off the dash. I did it and had loads of trouble. Ive been told the RAC fit it for approx £40-Renault wanted £80.
