Headlamp washer jets

Car  Clio 172 LHD
Anyone had one of these critters play up on them?

Mine has a hole where the little ball thingy is supposed to be. I was told it froze and split. No doubt I will need to hand over next month's salary to my local (hopeless) Renault dealer to fix it :(

The about £10 each from renault, an easy job to do (the bumper DOES NOT have to removed to replace them) Common fault i'm afraid.

Show me how...I'm intrigued...as have 2 for my car...and there doesn't appear to be a way to do it without the bumper being removed.

Found one that must have been replaced in the glove box so a common problem, then. Keen to find out how to do it without takin gth ebumper off.

whilst on the topic of light washers...

does anyone know how you work them? or do they automatically work when you activate the front windscreen washers?

They operate when the lights are on...if the lights are off...then only the windscreen washer jets work.

I have a FF 172 made in Finland that I drove here from Russia and the headlights are always on unless you remember to turn 'em off. The manual says they can be sorted but the routine they give in the manual doesn't work so th eone that's knackered weeps all the time :(
