At least its a bit different on the 182. Ive not lost a ball this time, instead they have just stopped working. It doesnt make a difference if the lights are on auto or turned on by the stalk.
I suppose Ill have to hunt for a fuse at the weekend.
Real dumb question, are you out of water? Or see if after you have done the wash thing if there is any puddles under them as it might just be a tube thats popped off.
They are a common fault, they work on a reversable motor. When you select front it spins up one way and the rear selection makes it spin the other. These parts break real easy....Had it done on mine not long after i bought it.And to top it off you loose your car for a whole day because its crap to fix
The windscreen still sprays fine but absolutely no action from the headlamp washers. I noticed it when the lights didnt flicker the other day, then this morning I stood outside the car and sprayed. I ended up soaking my dam self in the process.
Oh well, its not the fuse so it looks like that are actually broken.
Ill add it to the list of small things I need doing next time it goes in. They can look at that while the fix the alarm and knocking (3rd time lucky!!).
