Headlight adjustment?

Ok so I was given some H4 "xenon effect" main beam bulbs for free today after buying some sidelight bulbs of the same effect...

Now it all looked good when I tested them, but as for driving in the dark with them... that was one scary drive! I had about 15 - 20ft visibility! I actually was passed by a car with standard style bulbs in them and they where a lot brighter than mine!

Is there 'special' bulbs that clios are meant to have or is it just a case of adjusting them? I did notice they seam to be pointing up quite a lot... they light up road signs like daylight but the road in front of me is hardly lit at all... However the full beam is brilliant and lights up great.

have u adjusted ur headlight height?? on the scroll wheel by ur steerin wheel try movin it up or down n adjust it to the height u fink is best

If the little wheel by the steering wheel dosent work , adjust the whole unit it's self till your happy with the height
