Headlight beam alignment?

Now seen as I've lowered the car (finally) I would like to get my headlight levels checked over.
Where is best for this? Is it an MOT station only kind of job or will any garage offer the service?

I'd just pop into a local garage mate. Last MOT station I used only had the equipment to measure and not to alter.

They failed me so took it to a garage and he altered it within the price of the MOT anyway.

~I didn't know that this had to be checked :S

I had my car lowered before my MOT, and it was fine.. passed, and i didn't get my headlight beam adjusted

itl self adjust daz.....xenons have the auto adjuster on the rear beam.......its just when you go pretty low low (ie christopher) that they need adjusting manually IIRC

nicks were fine when i lowered his the other day, so his must have self adjusted :)

Yeah noticed this sensor the other day. :)

Yeah I know they self adjust guys (;)) but if the rear is lower then the car will assume the nose is pointing skyward due to a heavy load in the boot and thus aiming the headlights slightly down so as not to dazzle oncoming drivers! ;)

Obviously the sensor has no way of knowing that the front is lower too! ;)
