headlight bulb code

Does anyone know offhand which bulbs are used in the headlights of a mk1 172?

eg. H7

Which brand is best?

dipped beam HB3

and id say osram are better

i have jusrt ordered some mate , they are HB3s or some times called 9005, ordered my replacement from a company called http://www.powerbulbs.co.ukwww.powerbulbs.co.uk ordered philips blue vision ones as both mine have blown, about £21 i think . but it may be different prices etc for you accross the water.

Hmmm, I was thinking of the Osrams, might see if I can get Phillips over here too.
