Headlight dipper

When I change the dip setting on the headlights, they don't actually move, but all the other lights on the interior get dimmer, the radio, backlights on the dash etc. Is this likely to be a dodgy bulb somewhere, or bad earth?

Are you sure you're adjusting the headlights? Sounds like you are doing the interior light dimmer.

This! There are two wheels, I was doing the same the other day (I've never had to adjust them before ).

Cars with Xenons don't have manual adjustment.
