Headlight Flash

  FF 182
Just a quick one. i've got my 2004 182 and was wondering when you have headlights on should you not be able to pull the stalk back halfway to flash or do you have to go onto main beam and off. cheers

yeah im sure it is meant to do this. doesnt make sense. but no i have to go on to full beam and back off.

You have to pull it back twice if the headlights are on, one for on, one for off. Generally on cars (I think) if you can pull stalks back for a flash when the headlights are on, you have to push the stalk forward to keep them on dipped beam.

Annoying really, I'd always like to pull it back for a flash and forward to keep them on.

If you turn on the headlights (without using the autolight function... i.e. the conventional way).. Then it goes back to the "2 stage" high beam.

Yeah had that in my astra. but most clios i know you only pull back half and it flashes.

Pull it back halfway to flash , its a fine line between pulling the stalk back and flashing and putting your full beam on ,i've blinded a few people lol .

cool i will try with manual headlights and see if it does it then. because with auto lights on it defo does not flash. i have tried real slow but always stays on full beam

As Cliokhunt says, if the auto headlamps are enabled there is no half way click on the stalk, but when you physically turn the headlamps on with the stalk you will now get a half way click
