Headlight insert

Hello, once the headlight has been removed, issit possible to take the insert out, as i want to spray mine to match the rest of my car but i dont want to take the bumper off + light out if the insert doesnt even come out

take the glass off the light and use a heat gun on the plastic insert or heat it up to soften the glue compound tht holds it in place
