Headlight issue

Hi
Having great problems with one of the xenon lights in the headlight. When headlights come on automatically, the xenon doesn't on drivers side but passenger side is fine. If I try turning them on by the switch, nearside is again fine and drivers side xenon flicks on and straight back off. Can't get it to stay on. Bulb is ok and tested another new one but that does the same. Guess switch and fuses must be ok, so lot now. Anyone got ideas or had this problem? Cheers

im having the same problem but with the passenger side it works fine in the day but not at night on auto!!

sounds like a worn/old ballast. i had problems a few months back with just the drivers side headlight, it would flicker on the straight off again. New ballast off ebay for about £10 sorted

bumper off Paul. Swap the starter over then the ballast, bulb and eliminate the basics

I took the bulb out and it's a yellow colour I'm guessing it's knackered???

New ones aren't yellow so yeah it sounds like it's knackered.
