Headlight not workin Clio 182

Hi there I am new to renaults and new to the site I own a Clio 182 on a 54 plate only had it a few weeks quite like it the only problem I have is the ns headlight has stopped working It has xeon lights I have tryed another bulb and a power pack but no joy :-( I just wondered if some one could point me in the right direction do i try a ballet pack? Or is it a new headlight? Any help would be appriciated thanks.

The Xenon has a ballast pack which sits underneath the headlamp and bolts to the headlamp and an ignitor on the back of the lamp.

Does the otherside work buddy ? If so swap the ballast from that and then ignitor then lamp , do this 1 by 1 then you will know which part has failed.

These do have a limited life and the weather gets to them buddy.

I fixed all of mine when i bought my clio.

Yeah the other side works ok I will try swapping the ballast pack from the other side and see how I get on fingers crossed its this ! Could anyone reckomend where I go to buy a new ballast pack if its that?

Let me know what you need and I will try find where I got mine from. There hella products .

Ballast cost about £85 new , that's the grey box underneath and the ignitor was £40 the black box behind the bulb .

or get 2nd hand of people but it will wear out as thy have limited life

I presume you have initally checked fuse? - xenons are fused individually

Yeah sorry I have also checked the fuse's and all were ok

Just had a look and used all parts from one light to the other and it seems to be the ballast that's gone can anyone point me in the right direction to get one? Cheers

I paid £50 for mine, think renault are something like £120iirc (could be wrong)

once refitted, silicon seal around the ballast- they're prone to getting water in them, or so I read when mines went
