True, but I doubt theyll noticeAm I making this up or did a recent revision to the MOT rules make NOT having headlight washers on Xenon lights a fail?
Correct!!if your garage pulls you on the headlamp things then id find a friendlier garage,
Another thing I've been thinking of doing is a smaller steering wheel, is that also a fail then?So am I now going to have to put standard headlamps on as well as refit the bus steering wheel for mot? Fml🙄
It was mentioned a few weeks ago, something about standard safety equipment (airbag) not being fitted. Just need to refit the standard wheel, doesn't need the airbag connecting it just needs to be there and the dash lights to work as they should.Another thing I've been thinking of doing is a smaller steering wheel, is that also a fail then?
Are they really going to notice? But traffic cops don't!!👍

I can confirm this is true👆🙄Headlight washers aren't a testable item on pre september 2009 cars, so you are fine.

I'll take a few pics tomorrow and upload them
I hate to be the one to say it, but they're not orientated correctly. Look good otherwise!
Do you have a link to the ones you bought?

I didn't realise there was a particular orientation tbh, but they do look better correctly oriented when I found a pic of them on GoogleI hate to be the one to say it, but they're not orientated correctly. Look good otherwise!

These just came with a wing nut to secure it, added a tie wrap for extra security!I thought they had a tab that located them in the correct orientation?

Pretty expensive for what they are but I just don’t like the headlight washers.
a lot of things when they are 'missing' can't fail test as they can't actually be tested so therefore can't actually fail.
Shame I can't claim that with the mk1's sills and jacking points...
