Headlights - cant make my mind up...

I currently have angel eyes with HID's installed and i have recently been thinking about putting the original headlights back on but i love the HID's

What you lot recon?

Standards IMO dude, or xenons if you want to spend that kinda money/find a set.

What is the difference between HIDs and Xenons??? I thought they were the same thing!? Unless on here HID's refer to xenon bulbs in std headlights and Xenons refer to the projector style headlights off a 1*2 FF???

Either way, get them off! They should only be put on BMW's! Like the new craze of sticking strips of LEDs over the front of your car!!!! Leave them for the Audi's to pull off so well!

Same thing mate HID - High intensity discharge, Xenon - is the gas they are filled with i think.

They are coming off this weekend guys, cheers for the input. How much are 1*2 projector headlights?

no probs mate, they are the same thing they are just two different terms for the same thing. just my use of HID that may have been confusing

Automotive HID lamps are commonly called 'xenon headlamps', though they are actually metal halide lamps that contain xenon gas.

Yes they are the same thing, but on here

Xenons - refers to proper OEM 1*2/197 headlights

HIDs - usually a kit someone has put in cup or non sport headlights.
