Headlights Help Please

Noticed before leaving work that one of my headlights was out, so checked sidelights and main beam as well. They were ok.

Got bulb for dipped beam, replaced it (arent those holders for them sh*te and inaccessible) and it works.

But.

The sidelight on the other side that was fine has blown. Coincidence?

I thought so but Ive also noticed that the sidelight on the now fixed side, stays on even when on dipped and main beam. It should go off. Ive checked fuses and theyre all ok.

So is this light staying on cos the one on the other side is out? Or are there electrical gremlins at work here?

Renault invented the electrical gremlin.

2 Clios and Ive had, rear washer (both cars), both wing mirrors, passenger window (both cars), speedo bulbs both cars, various brake, indicator bulbs (both cars), ignition coil, front washer jets and fcuk knows what else.

I actually find it quite comical now, as long as the engine works Im no longer fazed!
