headunit

  Audi A3
hey

id like to put a fusion CA-DC500 headunit in a renault clio extreme 4 2005. i was wondering if after i remove the orignal headunit (stock renault one) is it a simple swap over or do i need to buy a facia to fit the fusion one properly?

cheers

Go for alpine or pioneer head unit. Some say fusion speakers are sh*t but i got some up front and they are ok. 6x9s are ok too, got some vibe kevlars in my parcel shelf and im happy with them. but even better is to uprate front and rear speakers, then amp them.

pioneer or alpine hu,forget the fusion kit,if your having a sub all you need is a set of comps in the front doors, your 6x9s will be cack

how much for sub and amp and speakers?

for a fusion (sticking with them for the moment as cheapish etc) for a sub, amp and wiring kit is £130 for the encounter set and £250 for the powerplant is £250 some fusion front speakers would be £50ish for powerplant.

i was thinking of the speaker kit with amp because wasnt sure if i was gonna go with a sub at first im in 2 minds about a sub.

but if componet speakers with a sub and amp would be better ( i listen to alot of music which is quite bassy hiphop/rnb/dance) then i can stretch to the amount it would cost for better sound etc.

There is a reason that its so cheap mate, cause it is a pile of crap, like everyone has been saying. Definately stay away from fli and fusion. If your on a tight budget then id go for vibe / xplod stuff. Cause even though the sony xplod stuff aint that amazing its still alright for its price.

If u listen to alot of bass music like myself then u DEFINATELY want a sub or it sounds shocking. Id say components, sub + amp would sound quality.
