Heat Sheild bolts, under the exhaust manifold.

How the hell am i ment to do these up?

Look behind the engine bay, follow the manifold down, where all 4 pipes meet there is 2 bolt underneath that, there loose making the heat sheild rattle.

i can do them up by hand, but can't see that lasting.

Think i'm going to have to add them to my weekly checks till it gets serviced then arg.

If they are the same as my PH1 they are not what I would call proper nuts. You do them up by hand and then push the two tabs on the top of the nut down the thread so its really tight.

That probably makes no sense!!

No sense at all lol, i can see one of them, it's just a normal 10mm nut.

There like captive nuts and if they come out and rusted up they're stuck! Stickerflex is like silicon sealant but a lot stronger!

They are a pain to tighten up, as Danny said.. they are kind of like captive nuts!

When I did my clutch it took a good 10 minutes to nip them up FFS
