Heat wrapping exhaust system.

Hi peeps

I am now getting p#$$ed off with my exhaust system hitting the heat shields, has
anyone got any advise on heatwrap like used on manifolds? would it be worth sacking of all my heat shields and completely wrapping my system in the stuff????
And what about the fuel tank area would this be safe method???

as fred, he knows sum stuff about it! aparently its a fcuker to do it as it take hours to do! do a search, there is loads of stuff on heat wrapping!

i would bother mate it doesnt last long and leaves the exhaust in a rite mess you can get them ceramic coated but it aint cheap

It is supposed to promote more power but the extra heat if you wrap the whole exhaust I think can lead to damage as the pipes behind the manifold arn't desingend to cope with the extra heat.
I'm not sure I'd remove the heat sheield which is there now I'd fix it there always things you can do.
