Heated Mirrors??

Just a query.

The other day I was sat on the drive thawing my car and noticed that steam was coming off the wing mirror, so i got out and felt the mirrors and they indeed were warm.

The car is a 2005 Dynamique, now I know that they have electric mirrors but never noticed anything on the spec sheet when I bought it about heated mirrors.

Could it be something thats automatic??

Normally comes on when you put rear screen heater on?

yep they're all heated, comes on when you turn the rear screen on

Never thought of them coming on with the rear window, makes sense too.
