Heater not that hot on setting 26

Hi i have a clio172
I noticed on settings 26 down the heat of the air isn't that warm , but on max setting its really hot
Surely There shouldn't be much in them
Anyone else experianced this
Also seperate tryed the cruise control the desired mph setting comes up with ----- can't put a speed in
The buttons on the steering wheel work as when on the max speed setting it works fines

You have climate control.

It will blow hot if the cabin is at a lower temperature than the one you've asked it for. The temperature you specify is not how hot the air blown out of the vents will be.

When you say it doesn't blow hot at, say, 24...is that not because the cabin is already at or close to 24 degrees?

From what I understand, temperatures between 17* & 24* are no problem for the standard heaters to reach. If you want above or below that you need to use the air conditioning.

also, if the car is really warm from running for a while, it'll constantly blow hot air out unless you specify 16*... Was quite annoying on a 3 hour drive lol

I drove a 40 mile trip today
I noticed i felt abit cold in the cabin so looked down it was on 26
I don't use the auto part
Only way of getting it nice and warm was to go on the max setting

Re cruise control, have you flicked the little button to the lower right of your steering wheel to activate cruise? You should get a light on the dash too. You should be able to specify a mileage with the "+" OR "-" on the steering wheel.

Yes did that comes up green on the dash,,
It did work briefly at 70mph set
Then i tryed it again on the way home and all i get is the ----

Try just pressing the "+" then as i think it may cancel itself if you press "-", thats just from memory, i have only used mine probably 4-5 times myself
