clio 172, pulsar, evo
Hey guys, once again i have been given the labourious task of fixing my sisters car. I had this brilliant 172 for ages with no problems at all. Since shes had it its been a bit of a pain. Heres the break down:
The abs started coming on a few months back on light breaking. I think its an ABS ring causing the fault but shes ran it regardless. The hazards came on 2 weeks ago for no reason and somehow i managed to get them off?
Then today for no reason... the stereo turns off the lights turn off (but fogs still worked), the heater fan stopped, windows wouldnt go down and the handbrake light, abs light, and airbag light came on on the dash. Now for the interesting bit... when i pressed on the break and felt the abs come on the power returned and the lights went off. the second i pressed on the accelerator or caused a power surge the lights came on and the power went off! Very strange relation no?
Dodgy connection? but where and what circuts? Im good at fixing mechanical problems but electrics is my weak point. I need it fixed asap as my sis is driving my evo again!!!!
Any one had anything similar?
