Hi there everyone. I've been around here for a while but not posted, great forums full of useful info so thanks for that. I've had my Mk2 03 172 Cup for nearly a year now so thought I was about time I posted I'm in Bristol, seen a few 172's/Cups around but none with Cliosport badges yet.
A quick winter warning:
1. Toyo Proxies might be great in the dry and passable in the wet, but they are not good winter tyres! Managed to have a nice low speed bump in works snow covered car park this morning. I turned in at about 5mph, nothing happened, turned harder and the back came round. I was past the point of no return so hit the brakes and a minor bumper to bumper impact. No damage that I have spotted yet, dammit I feel like a fool! Off to put some Goodyear GSD3's on later I think!
2. When your car is all iced up in the morning, before you start you engine to warm it up a bit make sure you didn't leave your wipers on the night before! Wipers unclip pretty well, no damage and they plug right back in OK, although I did have to keep returning to the house to warm my hands up first
