Hello Clio Owners :)

Car  Saxo VTS
Hey,

My name is Sam, i live in Essex and i drive a saxo vts at the moment. (No saxo jokes please! :) ).

Im currently in the process of wanting to get rid of my saxo as i dont feel all that safe in it and i do a lot of driving for work nowadays so i have been looking at the cliosport 182.

I have a couple of things that i want to look into on this car though like fuel consumption etc and thought this was a good place to start :)

Hopefully i can find out what i want to know and start having a look around for the 182 asap.

So hey everyone :)

Welcome to the site

Get quite a few people that upgrade from saxo to 1*2, Good move imo

I'm one of them, Retired from sax-p now though... after 15k+ posts

Leckie, Graeme, Karl and Peej are a few of them... there's loads on here

welcome!

25-35mph depending on driving style.

search for mpg on here and im sure you will come back with 15,567,987,123 threads on it!

I have a cup and i average 35-36mpg on normal driving

Heard none of the usual suspects go on anymore, Simo will be crying into his keyboard

ive got a 53 172 (same consumption tbh)

i average 30-32 over a tank.

typically get 230miles from £35

working on the basis (which is filling from the line above red to full)
35 litres = 7.69 gallons x 30 mpg = 230 miles) @94.9p per litre

currently v-power is 89.9 (where i am in chelt) so i am getting nearer 250 miles

Welcome to cs, where abouts in Essex are you from? I went from a saxo (vtr though) to a 182. VTS's are great little cars :)

That would be awesome for me, i stick about £30 in mine now and get about the same amount of miles so its not that much difference :)

DebV6 - I live in Weeley which is near Clacton, but spend most of my time in Colchester :)

Sounds like it wouldnt be that much difference then to what im paying and the mileage im getting now.

sweet! well i dont think id fit much more than 35 litres in so it would still be about 250ish miles.

dont quite get as high mpg as you CUPsters

Welcome! I'm always about Colchester so I'll keep an eye out ... look out for me tho coz I'm not flashing every Saxo I see! Hehe!

Welcome!

Oooo... Colchester! I spend loads of time there to! Keep your eyes peeled for a nutty female in a dirty 172 CUP! :o
