Hello from Bradford

Hey Guys,

New member here in Bradford - had a 182 since Saturday and loving it - great fun. Previous car was a Toyota Supra (Twin Turbo Manual) - also great fun but time for a change.

I've got to admit that i feel really old in here - 39 - am I officially the oldest Clio owner? A lot of you guys seem to be half my age - sweet baby Jesus! Looking on the bright side - I guess that means my insurance ain't that bad really!

Car will have to go back to the garage to get the old common headlight washer problem sorted - never noticed that when i was looking at it.

Anyway - seems to be a cool bunch in here and loads of great info.

Someone in a black Clio (not used to spotting models yet) flashed me last Saturday evening as i drove through Horsforth from West Park to Yeadon - didn't flash back - the lights are on the other side of the steering wheel from the Supra - i might have waved my wipers at you!

Hello Wayne mate, nice to meet others from the bradford area, welcome to CS
I was toying with the idea of getting a twin turbo supra before the clio, still might one day but the clio won on practicality at the moment (and it's slightly less twitchy on the back end too )
If you're up for a baptism of fire there is a meet this weekend for the west yorkshire lot, meeting in leeds then driving to bolton abbey, should be a dozen or so going hopefully, check out the "West Yorkshire" thread in the meets section if you're interested.

Thanks for all the welcome guys - lots of locals on here - think you notice more Clio's when you're driving one - they seem to be everywhere - hardly ever saw another Supra!!

Not sure I can make the meet this Sunday at short notice - depends what my social secretary (i.e. the missus) has planned I guess. I'm sure she'd be c**k-a-hoop if i told her i was taking her out and ended up in a field tyre-kicking with you lot.
