Hi there RS Fans!
A few months ago I decided to treat myself with a fun weekend car. I went through all the usual suspects that most of you probably considered at one point (MX-5, S2000, ancient Elises, etc.). Then I can't remember what led me to research the new Type R which in turn led to a comparo with the 197 (and coincidentally around the same time I saw an ad for RS track day tickets at the local circuit here in neighboring Abu Dhabi).
Long story short, I was bit by the RS bug and starting seriously looking. Looked at everything but mostly 182s but couldn't find anything but lemons and just as I was about to buy an excellent phase one 172, I came across this 2012 beauty at the dealership's pre-owned showroom and had to have it.
Obviously, this will be my daily driver now and looking to offload the Subaru - can't service two loans even in Dubai
Feels great to join the wider RS family...
