Have just joined having used the Cliosport site a heck of a lot since getting my 172 10 days ago now.
That in itself is probably worth a little more lineage here. The car is a late (very end Dec) 2001 172 in Pearl black (I think it's called unless anyone can correct me?) with 68,000 miles on the clock.
The car is in really nice condition but almost unbelievably (certainly to me and hopefully to you) I saved it from being scrapped for want of a new back box and a battery!! Both of which I have now done and enjoyed it fully for the first time only this evening.
There are a few jobs I'll work through over the coming weeks and months, most pressing is a leak through the boot which I'll post elsewhere and at some point the bonnet has been closed on a tool box or something and lets the otherwise excellent bodywork down so I'll be on the lookout for a suitable replacement in time.
For now I just plan to have a great deal of fun with the car and to hopefully put what I learn along the way back into the forums.
