Hello from Scotland

Car  03 Clio 1.2 16vBlack
Hello
I'm from Scotland and have just purchased my first Clio, its a black 2003 1.2 16v extreme. It's running well (so far) and I have to say its a fun wee car to drive. The paint may need a claybar run over it but that can wait until summer returns.

Welcome along mate, we're having a wee meet on Sunday you're welcome to come along if you fancy it!

lol thanks for the welcome, I live on the outskirts of Gala, my full time job is caring for a family member so its never easy to take time off, regular working folk can take time off work but my job actually is full time. I don't mind though things could be a lot worse. I also build PCs for folk, not a profession but more of a hobby.

Thanks again for the welcomes. I have found a couple of niggles with my wee clio. I have discovered 4 long scratches in the windscreen on the inside, if you run your fingers you can feel the deep scratches, but from the outside its not detectable. the scratches are about 4 inches long two at the top drivers side and one half way down the windscreen near the centre of the car. Looks odd. I dont know if they can repair those or if it will mean a new windscreen. Also I took my wee clio for a wash to the jet wash and i got some water leaking through the interior light, just an odd drip. However after a night of rain last night I checked this morning and its bone dry. I am putting it down to being too agressive with the jetwash.
