Hello newbie looking to buy a 182

Hi Guys my names Bill i live in devon and i currently drive a 106gti, now im looking to get a clio 182, i have been trying to do my research on the 182's and think i have got my head around the different specs, now can you lot please tell me what are they like to drive? will it be much different to my 106gti? do they go well? do they handle well? are they worth the money etc

Great cars the 182's. However the one thing anyone whose owned both a 172/182 and a VTS/GTi is that the 106 has a far better seating position, its a little awkward in the Clio.

Ive had a VTS/GTi and a phase 1 172 and tbh the 172 is the better car, although pace wise on the right stretch of road there would be not much in it.

Also the 106's JP4 1600cc engine responds alot better to modification than the 182's F4R lump, they are difficult to get decent gains without super/turbo charging.

Fantastic cars all the same.

Probably all the wrong type of questions to ask on a forum dedicated to clio sports.

Anyway, theres a buyers guide in the guide section thats work a look to supplement your understanding of the issues with them, although you have to pay membership to see it.
