Hi,

My name is luke i'm 26 and have just purchased a clio 05 182 cup!

After building a 900kg 231hp k20 engined 93 honda civic eg hatch! I wanted sensible with some creature comforts and thought the clio fits the bill perfectly!

So far since picking it up yesterday, the car has died on me:dapprove:.........................but fortuantly the drive home was ok!

So just saying hi and no doubt i will be in the fault finding forum soon!

Didn't want one without! Wanted a trophy, but didn't want the problems that supposedly come wth the dampers! How can you tell its not a cup? No front lip? And why should i be glad? Thanks

Never heard of problems with the trophy dampers, aside from them needing refurbing rather than replacing. The 182 cups didn't have xenons or climate control, and are generally regarded as the poverty model

Thats the problem i was refering to! My dad's friends gave up at 26k! Couldn't justify it as the car prob wont even see the track! Thank for info:approve:

Thanks for other comment peeps, all gota do now is get it running straight! Its throwing code P0302 Missfire in cylinder no 2! But barely runs/starts! I hope its just coilpack/leads/plugs and not a burnt valve/loss of compresssion! Is there any common faults with these? I hope clio ownership will get better than this, already thinking about going back to jap:rasp:
