Does anyone know where the best/easiest point in a 200 is to feed the powercable from the battery? I was debating drilling and then sealing a small hole but that's last resort!!!
Hope that someone can help
There's usually a loom that comes through the passenger footwell, you can push the rubber gromit around the wires out to get the power cable through, but then obviously you won't get the gromit back in the hole, the only other thing as you say is to drill a hole, nothing wrong with that just be careful not to drill into anything on the other side.
I used some weird socket behind the glove box to which plug was connected but blinded so basically it wasn't doing anything. We unblinded it and connected the fuse there. Saved me the hassle of making a new whole. Works OK for last three years. But my amp and sub aren't the most powerful so for amateur setups it does the job.
Thanks very much but with some help from my mate's we managed to find a place to feed the wire just behind the center console which comes out bang center of the engine bay going to finish the box of tomorrow and will post pics
Thanks for the help
I am looking to buy a sub with a built in amp, and fit it into the standard HU, whats the best way of doing this? Heard few ways such as, take power from rear speakers or need a high to low converter, any help would be much appreciated, thanks
