Help - alpine ipod adapter - sw peeps only

i need help! (as always) - any one in the bath area that has a alpine kca-420i ipod adapter - that i could quickly plug into my headunit to illiminate mine being faulty???? worked fien yeaterday and now the flipping thing wont detect

help would be much appreiecated!!!
