Help....Bl***y wheel nuts

Can anyone give me some advice... I trying to get my locking wheel nuts off but haveing loads of probs with keeping the brace straights with the adaptor on.....:S

Ha Ha !......sorry Adam, just my sense of humour, you can make rabbits pop out of hats, but you cant get wheel nuts to disappear.

Try using something other than the cars wheel brace. If you can beg borrow or steal a spider, you will be able to exert more even pressure.
Sounds like they were done up too tight last time.

happened to me last week, its a b**ch. On mine i got it off using an axle stand to support the adapter, stop it slipping when u jump up and down. On my m8s car we just went 2 a local garage and asked politely, just did it quikly 4 us 4 free.

Yeah I would go to the garage mate.

Mine were on soo tight I had to try and stand on them and then the whole nut sheared off. Allows the wheel to go off, but I hated going around each roundabout with 3 bolts!

cheers chaps for the replies got them off in the end using a standard wheel brace with the adaptor.......Calipers look good now so well worth it.....Thats magic....;)

lol bloody hell,
This usually happens when tyre garages or just garages do the nuts up with a farking air tool, when they are supposed to be torqued up.

Just slam a decent socket on and use a breaker bar?
leverage is the key lol
