I have just bought a Clio (N reg)...but Im not sure the immoboliser is working correctly. The manual says that when the doors are locked with the remote (plip key) the engine should NOT start even when the ignition key is used - but IT DOES??
The immob light on the dash board comes on when the key is turned and extinguishes in a few seconds - just like it says it should in the manual when the engine can be started. But like I said earlier the engine shouldnt start when the doors havenbt been opened with the remote???
Who can I ring for free advice on this if you cant help, it affects insurance cover.
