Help. to keep it really short i've changed one of my injectors. When i took the rail off it was tight and i had to pull it quite hard as the o-rings where well in there. When i've come to put it back on i cant get the injectors/o-rings to go back in. if i tighten up the rail it gets a slight bend in it. do the injectors o-rings have to slot inside or just push up against it.

Tried to waggle, jiggle, joggle etc but not getting anywhere. No 1 goes in easily. 2, 3( new one) and 4 dont. Is there a trick?

Help please as car is currently in pieces on the drive

Yep, they all need to push in.
Use a bit of grease/spit/petrol on the o-rings to help them slide in.

Start at one end, number 1 if it goes in easily, and push firmly one at a time.

I'll be tackling this at the weekend. Mine seemed bloody well stuck in when I was trying to pull them out.

As above, get some oil or something on the o rings to make it a bit easier.

@leeds2592 Yeah, some of them feel like you're going to snap the rail by pulling them out.

I find it helps to angle them up and down as you pull to try and break the seal.

Thanks guys they're back in after a lot of pushing and wiggling and a bit of lube (spit). cars running much smoother and idling lower so result and no more fault light.
