Help Fitting recaro's !!!!!!!!

Hi i have recently got hold of some nearly new evo 8 seats but i am absolutly stuck for subframes to make them fit my clio. Demond tweaks told me the ones they supply are different because the after market recaros are different fitting to the ones that are supplyed standard on evo's. Would the subframes from a clio trophy do the job?? i am really stuck here and could do with some usefull advice as soon as possible.

a guy on here has made them fit but he had to fabricate his own frames! he has a 172 cup i forget his name!

yer not a bad idea i just didnt fancy messing with the old subframes encase i wanted to put it back to standard again. i was wondering if clio trophy ones would do?

i just gave them a ring and they gave me a price of 95 each but they told me there is no garantee they will fit because the recaros from the evo are original fitment and there subframes are for aftermarket recaro's

im guessing everyone will be telling you this - price is around about the right price tho!

does any one have a guide on what modifications are needed to the original subframes?? or just any idea of how hard it is to do?
