Help fitting splitter

@rt

  Veccy 1.9 cdti
Hi, I want to fit a cup splitter to my 172 rep but I havn't got any fixings, what do I need to use to secure it? is it just screws? and do I need to drill any holes or anything?

cheers!

1)Get the Splitter held up to the car (get someone to help)

2) Secure it using masking tape only.

3) Drill a few small pilot holes from one end to the other.

4) Use self tappers to secure the splitter

Job Done :)

i used washers on my screws to make the heads bigger, less chance of the plastic surround the screw ripping then

lol!

I'm sure my bumper already has holes drilled on the bottom of it? :S

wether it's had a splitter on before I owned it or not I don't know, maybe it did! lets just hope the holes are in the right places!

will take pics when fitted later on today!

Nah I got it from steve79 on here from the 182 cup he's breaking, couldn't really afford the 150 from the stealers! Also got the RS grill from someone on here, both together costing 100 posted, instead of the 200 from renault! Hopefully get the grill next week :)

the only things I actually have to buy now are the spacers, gear knob insert, and headlights (wether it be full units or just bulbs!)

So in say £300 max I'll be done! :D
