Help front shock fitting

Changing the front shocks on the 182 but can't get the lower bolts to lign up.

Guides say to jack up the hub but I need to lower it about 5mm :-(

Maybe jacking the other side up higher might make the hub drop, not too sure, I remember I had a bit of trouble getting the struts bolted into the hubs.

Put a bar between the subframe and the anti roll bar. Push down. Insert shock bolts.

Brute force wins!

With the new style top mount and washer, should the new style washer tighten all the way down? Measured the thread and seems like it's as far as it goes but still got a bit of movement, do you use the original bolt as well?

Definitely leaving it to the pros next time.

Do it up until it stops, the rubber will still slop around a bit. Then do the top it up as tight as possible.

Yeah that's what it's like, just thought it should be tight. Thanks for the help guys, appreciate it.

Finally all sorted, feels much better already. Just need to get the tracking done.
