help grease everywhere!!!

I am a noob but I stumbled across this on my car an even i can tell its not right. is there a temp fix?
do i need a whole new driveshaft or just the piece of rubber

you could try but not won't work, plus who bother you need a new shaft there not to bad if you don't want to spend on a new one buy one from a screap yard etc

ye its just i work in germany and would need a tempory solution so i could drive back to the uk.

Driveshaft from Renault on the continent is probably cheaper than one here, only half hour to fit one that side too

Yep I never realy check the car, only when a friend was MOTing it pointed it out I knew it was there but its been thought another MOT like that (not an MOT failure the inner just the outers).

So its least two years like than an a fair few miles. I only remembered when I changed the rack a few weeks ago.

Considering you are getting a new driveshaft it won't matter.

Nah it doesnt work out that much. He makes a little bit of money picking items up on the way back so he doesnt mind really. Plus he gets to c his grandson which he doEsnt very oftn becaus im in germany
