Warranty expired last month, but cashed in nicely the day before it ended with a new driveshaft, head unit and CD changer Headlamp washer is now leaking after a long drive over the weekend.
I can't really understand why it leaks, I'm guessing there is some sort of valve in there that only allows washer fluid out when pump is on. I presume this valve is broken...??
So, seeing as warranty is expired can I take that black bit off without removing bumper? If so how?
Other option is to just take off front wheel arch liner and block the tube to that particular washer...afterall headlamp washers aren't that useful, so I think I can live without it!
The washer ball leaks the fix is to glue them or replace the unit.
Just take the bumper of if its your first time its easier its not difficult to get it off.
Taken bumper off before but thought it was a bit of a mission to be honest.
Edde, any ideas how much a new unit is or what the part number is?
I've had both replaced, got my ECU bracket too Chris but it was the wrong part :rasp:

typical dealer knowledge
Washer jets are £7 odd each, the part numbers I have somewhere if you really need them?
