clio 172 mk2, on idel (below 1000rpm) the car fells like its running abit rough, if u put your hand under he exahurst it feels like its poping at you, i've changed the plugs/coil and its still doing it, and i have been to a few garages and they say its normal but am not sure, does anyone else's 172 do the same???

pull out the map sensor and see if it cuts out.

yeh feels ok to drive, where is this map sensor and what does it do???

Sounds like a clio at normal idel if you ask me, there all quite lumpy.

Yep 172's do run a bit lumpy on idle, my dads does & almost sounds like it'll cut out sometimes (it won't, it just sounds like it will though)

Sounds normal to me . They all idle rough , at around 700rpm +/- 50
