HELP! Injector!

Been noticing a slight whiff of petrol when Ive been driving my valver for the last few days. Opened the bonnet to discover a small wet patch of petrol around one of the injectors.

Anyone else had this problem before. Think it might be that the seal on this injector has perished, what does everyone else think?

Also, it seems that you cant just buy the seal, you need to buy the whole injector from Renault - £120+vat ish! £300 for the whole "fiddly" job, they reckon!

Anyone got any ideas - somebody save me some wonga!!!

nah.....taking the injectors out is a piddle...........

and you can get replacement O rings from the likes of NSU etc.

A piddle for who? Im no mechanic!

you can get injector seals.get a seal kit of a newish clio im sure it will fit the injectors look the same.
