Help me get this Volvo rocking!!

I was looking to put in a factory amp in my car, but have since found out the car has been pre-wired for an aftermarket system, and the previous owner has left me eight nice Boston Acoustic speakers rather than the standard units.

Ive had a hunt around my car, and have found two RCA sockets which lead into a multipin plug, with outputs to some speaker wire. There also appears to be either a +12V or GND connector there, as well as a small pin plug that comes from the main multipin plug.

What do you reckon goes where? Does the multipin go into an amp, and the RCA sockets are for a sub?

Any reccomendations as to what amp and sub to use also? I have loads of space - its a Volvo estate! Lol.

hmmmm

that bronze speaker wire thats connected to that white connector by the green and white wires, where does that go to ?

Runs the length of the car and back up behind the dashboard. There are four crossover boxes behind the dash for the door speakers and they have outputs/inputs labelled "Sub" and "Amp" which are filled with this type of wire - not sure if they run back to where the pic is taken or not - its all a bit of a mess round there!
