  53 plate Clio 172


Hi peeps just bought a lowered 172.

Is there anyway i can adjust the height of the beam of my headlights?

Yep. And when you have an MOT theyll change them back to standard and charge you for the privilege!

Fairly straightforward job tho. Easiest way is to park about 30 yards away form a wall (facing it). Switch your lights on and then adjust the white hex nut on the lights. Youll be able to see on the wall how much the lights have dipped.

seriously the ph2 172 doesnt have a level control? thats really poor!

id have thought that if they didnt have a thumb wheel theyd have self levelers with a proximity switch

As said already theyre self leveling hence when you lower the rear of the car the lights point down as if there was extra weight in the back, not exactly poor more clever for those who arent going to mod their car!
